Does anyone out there still use Hurst extrication equipment? If so, how do you like it?

We use a set of hurst at the vol. dept I run with. Its an older set that we've upgraded some. We have the thing serviced yearly and it starts on the first try every time even with the older briggs motor. Keeping fresh gas with sta-bil in it is also important.

The system itself is a 5000psi system. We use an 0-150 cutter, model 27 spreader with the short arms and a 30 ram. We purchased the lighter model 27 spreaders via ebay for around 300 bucks, and our 100' reel for around 150 WITH hose there as well. The 27 model replaced an old 32A spreader. The 32A was the OLD long armed spreaders that weighed 89lbs. The 27's weigh around 44. Its a great system for what we paid for it and for the amount we use it. Its not top of the line or the best for that matter but it works well. Im not afraid to use it on the worst accidents.
